Since 1983, David has specialized in the marketing and sale of over 475 apartment buildings. David's apartment clients include local owners, off-shore families and institutional investors. Additionally, he has sold a number of prominent multifamily development sites to Polygon, Wall Financial, Mosaic Homes, Bosa Ventures, Hollyburn Properties, CAP REIT, Transglobe Property Management, BC Housing, Cape Construction, Mayfair Properties, as well as hotels and shopping centers, including Middlegate Shopping Centre on behalf of his clients.

Always striving towards enhancing his craft, David pioneered the practice of newsletters for multifamily building owners in 1983. The Goodman Report, then a print newsletter focused on the apartment industry, has now evolved into a fully integrated email and print apartment news and marketing platform that has positioned David and his son Mark as authorities on apartment sales in BC and across Canada.
